We are very fortunate to have reknowned Michele Campbell as the resort's Executive Chef. Michele has owned and managed leading restaraunts in London, Sydney, and Auckland, and leads our team of six full time Fijian chefs. Together, our chefs have more than 100 years of experience!
The cuisine at Qamea can best be described as South Pacific Rim, which is similar to California Cuisine. Our fruits and vegetables are organic, and if not from our own gardens, are flown in three times a week from New Zealand. All of our seafood is local, caught daily by our two Qamea fishermen. Our beef and poultry is also flown in from Australia and New Zealand.
For breakfast we do not have a menu. You order whatever you like, and our chefs will be sure not to disappoint you. For Lunch and Dinner, you will have a choice of two entrees (starters) and two mains to choose from. But don't worry, if what we are offering is not to your liking, we can surely offer alternative choices. And if you would like a snack between meals, just let us know. Our chefs are also able to cater for all special dietary requirements.
We have a full bar service, and with our new temperature controlled wine cellar, an ever growing selection of Australian, New Zealand and California wines. Qamea is widely known throughout Fiji for its excellence in food. You will not be disappointed!
